This standard agreement ensures compliance with KVKK and the Regulation on Procedures and Principles Regarding Transfer of Personal Data Abroad published on 10/7/2024.
This Privacy Notice explains how we process your personal data as data controller through the WeServer website ("Site").
Data Categories and Examples
Personal data processed by WE1TOWN includes the following categories:
Identity data
- Name, surname, date of birth, gender, national ID number
Contact data
- Mobile phone, email, address, postal code, landline
Payment data
- Tax office, billing details, payment method information
- Card data is not processed by us; managed by payment providers.
Membership data
- Membership details, membership ID, password
Customer transaction data
- Products/services purchased, order amount and date, campaigns/coupons
- Support requests, comments and questions, transaction history
Transaction security data
- IP address, user transaction logs, server access logs
Marketing data
- Marketing messages if commercial communication consent is given
- Cookie records, targeting data, preference records
Audio-visual data
- Support and call centre recordings (where applicable)
Location data
- Location data if permitted via browser settings
Legal transaction data
- Service start/end times, service type, accepted agreements and legal texts
Request and complaint data
- Records of requests/complaints submitted via Site, social media or support channels
Processing Purposes and Legal Bases
We process personal data based on legal grounds under KVKK Article 5, including:
- Compliance with legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-a).
- Verification of membership; execution of membership and orders (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- Order processing, payments, billing and delivery.
- Sales and after-sales support.
- Responses to authority requests and legal compliance (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç).
- Protection of rights; detection of suspicious or unlawful activity (KVKK Art. 5/2-e).
- Improvement and development of platform use (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
- Campaigns and commercial messages with your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).
Methods of Obtaining Personal Data
WE1TOWN obtains personal data through the Site using fully or partially automated methods. In certain cases data may also be obtained non-automatically as part of a recording system (e.g. documents sent by post).
Recipients and Purposes of Transfer
Personal data is transferred only for purposes stated in this Notice and in compliance with KVKK Articles 8 and 9:
- Authorized persons, institutions and organizations where required by law.
- Partners and logistics providers for order preparation, delivery and management.
- Service providers and partners for audit, reporting and service improvement.
- Suppliers and authorized payment institutions for payments, orders and infrastructure support.
Transfer Abroad
Where personal data is transferred abroad, appropriate safeguards under KVKK Article 9 and the Regulation on Transfer Abroad apply, including standard contractual clauses. Data may be transferred to cloud providers abroad for platform operations where necessary for legal obligations or contract performance.
Your Rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- To learn whether personal data is processed.
- To request information if processed.
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly.
- To know third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad.
- To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- To request deletion or destruction under KVKK Article 7.
- To request notification of correction/deletion to third parties.
- To object to results arising solely from automated analysis.
- To claim compensation for damage due to unlawful processing.

You may exercise your rights via our support channels and customer panel.
You may submit requests using your registered email address.
